Hometown Septic Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and in the course of our septic services, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, service address, and whatever details you include when you contact us through the form on this site, by phone, by email, or by text.
- Automatically, as you browse: standard web server and security logs kept by our hosting provider, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We also read the approximate region your IP address is in for one purpose only: deciding whether to show you the cookie consent banner described below.
How We Use Your Information
- To answer your questions, quote work, and schedule and perform septic services.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet our legal, tax, and permitting obligations.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as long as the law requires.
Cookies and Tracking
This website runs no analytics service and no advertising pixels. It sets only strictly necessary cookies, such as remembering your choice if you use the cookie banner. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you or to follow you across other websites.
Our financing pages include a payment calculator provided by Hearth, a third-party lender marketplace. When that calculator loads, Hearth can see your IP address and the page you are on, and it may set its own cookies. It is the only third-party embed on this site.
For visitors in California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington, Illinois, and Michigan, the Hearth calculator and any other non-essential technology are blocked until you opt in through our consent banner. In those states the calculator stays blank until you accept, and a link to apply with Hearth directly is always shown beside it. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Outside those states the calculator loads normally.
How We Share Information
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business: our website host, the email delivery service that carries contact form submissions to our inbox, the phone and text messaging providers we use to reach you, and Hearth if you choose to use the financing calculator or apply through it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Financing Applications
If you apply for financing, you are dealing with Hearth and its lending partners, not with us. What you submit there is governed by their privacy policies and their credit decisions, and we do not receive or store your credit application or credit report.
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know or access the personal information we have collected about you, to have it deleted, to have inaccurate information corrected, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so we do not respond to it. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: where your browser sends one, we treat it as an instruction to keep non-essential cookies and trackers off for that browser.

- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.

This website is meant for adults arranging septic service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We take reasonable precautions to protect the information we hold from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No transmission over the internet or a mobile network can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
